Terms of Service
1. Do not hit on Jeanne or else feel the wrath of Andrew. Also, do not hit on Andrew or feel the wrath of Jeanne.
2. No hacking anyone on this server. Everything is to be done legit unless authorized by an event; any hackers found will result in an immediate IP ban!
3. Keep fights within PvP borders. Do not use any broadcasting methods of bickering, unless you want to be muted for how ever long the GM's please. Keep dueling away from other players of the main town for it may cause lag.
4. Treat the GM team and all other players with respect and you should be treated equally. Do not be afraid of the GM team, you are allowed to spread your views as long as they do not insult anyone harshly.
5. No KS'ing! Do not attack or loot other players' monsters without their permission. A monster "belongs" to another player if it is attacking, being attacked by, trapped by, or following that player. When casting area attacks, make sure not to hit other players' monsters. Monsters that give the MvP sign when killed are exempt from this rule. GM's will warn you if you KS, repeated KS'ing will result in a 10 minute mute. Continuation after the mute will result in a jail sentence.
Do not kill other alchemists' plants without their permission. Monsters that an alchemist's plants/homunculus are fighting belong to that player so don't even think about killing their monsters, unless they allow you to do so. This rule also applies to creators too so don�t be a smart ass about it. Do not allow your Homunculus to attack other player's monsters either; use the "Stand By" (Alt+T) command as necessary.
6. Do not spam nonsense in the towns. If you spam in town, you will be warned for the spamming. If you continue the spamming, you will be muted for a while.

Do not spam any skill(s) in town unless you are in a duel. If you spam skills in town, you will be muted without warning. Not only that but you will ruin town dueling for other players for GM's would have to turn skills off. For the speech spamming you will be warned for the spamming, failure to listen will result in a 10 minute mute.
7. Please do not ask to be a GM. Only ask or apply if we have spots open. If you don't win the spot, I'm sorry but at least you had a chance. Please keep in mind that first come is usually first served. Asking to be a GM more than once will be considered spamming and will result in the same punishments as spamming so do not ask to be a Game Master(GM) unless we have available spots.
8. No advertising other servers. Risk of being banned at the GM's discretion. Continued advertisement will result in a wipe and further continuation will result in a IP ban.
9. No botting! If you are caught botting even once, you will automatically be banned and all characters associated with your IP will be lost. No excuses are accepted.
10. No harassment, sexual harassment or discrimination. Harassment is defined as "irritating or tormenting someone persistently". If someone tells you to leave them alone then knock it off, okay? Harassment is punishable by jail and/or suspension time at the GM's discretion.
11. No causing riots inside the game. We want a friendly community, not people that just want to flame and bother other players. This is punishable by jail and/or suspension time at the GM's discretion.
12. No vending around NPC's. When people vend around the NPC's it hides them from the view, making it hard for players (especially beginners) who want to find and use them. If we catch you vending by an NPC we will turn on PvP and take your shop down so please don't do it and waste our time.
Also, do NOT vend in our main map Ayothaya. We want to keep the roads clean, please vend in our Mall as we have a lot of room there but please do not vend around the NPC's in there, thank you. If you vend in our main map, your shop is going to get taken down.
13. No chat rooms in the main streets. Keeping the streets clear allows people to freely move, making the game easier for everyone.
14. Do not exploit glitches. Report them immediately! Exploiting bugs that result in the gain of large quantities of zeny or items, and disrupting the server in any way will result in a ban. Reporting a bug of this nature will result in a reward.
15. The GM's are not allowed to hand out free items and will never do so. It is probably best not to ask.
16. Do not harass the GM's. Treat the GM's as you would like to be treated, and offer them the same respect you would like to receive.
17. No Scamming! This especially applies to the merchants. If caught doing so, you will be punished.
18. Avoid foul language please as some of us do mind it and we want to make it a peaceful community. Any foreign language is accepted on GarmRO.
19. Modification or editing of your client files is not allowed and will not be tolerated.
20. Do not spam annoying skills (e.g. Ice Wall) in town that lag the game. Events are an exception if map skills are turned on.
21. Do not pretend to be a Game Master(GM). Do not name yourself similar to a GM.
22. Do not attempt to sell items, zeny, or accounts with real money.
23. Do not warp to players if they do not want to be bothered.
24. When vending, do not put false advertisements in the shop title with the intention of deceiving buyers. If I see scammers doing that I will turn on PvP and take your shop down by killing you.
25. Real GM's will never ask for your items and/or password.
26. GM's will also NEVER give away any zeny, items, or tank players.
27. Do NOT spam messages to GM's. If you have a question, please ask us politely and only one time to make our job easier. If we don't reply back within 15 minutes, then you may ask us again.
28. GM's reserve the right to ban, mute, or jail for rule violations without warning. Also do not mock a GM by using their screen name in any way. Like for mine if you used GarmIsABish; yeah I may be a bitch and that won't insult me but keep that to yourself. If I catch you doing that, it's ban time or jail time for j00. xD!
29. Do not mess with any GM's boyfriend or girlfriend on here flirting wise, asking for items or bothering them by spamming non-sense to them in a private message. That will result to being sent to muted, jailed, and/or banned depending on how bad it got.
30. Don't tell personal information to people about the GM's! It is rude and will result to you being jailed, muted, wiped, and/or IP banned depending on how bad it was. We would never tell any personal information about you so please respect us, thank you.
War of Emperium Related Rules:
31. Do not destroy your own Emperium. (e.g. using Homunculus, Gravitation Field).
32. Do not summon Transcendent Characters in Non-Trans Castles.
33. No underhanded tricks! Such as; spamming trade requests, party invites, PMs to distract, etc.
We do not have the @warp command because of War of Emperium. If you used that command during War of Emperium it would be called cheating. Therefore, no @warp on this server and if you're upset by this please go elsewhere as many other servers don't have this command either.
More Rules:
34. If someone apologizes for breaking a Player Relation rule accept the apology and move on. Do not harass, swear or threaten them. Players: If you are harassed by someone randomly or after you said you were sorry to them for upsetting them, please report them to us in the "Report" forum.
35. You are responsible for your account's security. Choose a strong, secure password that you will not forget. If you happen to forget your password, you may private message Garm in the forums and ask for your password. However, I will be asking you for your IP address, account user name, and what you thought your password was to match the one you lost. If any of those information do not belong to you, I will not give you your password.
36. If you give out your password to anyone, you take FULL responsibility for their actions. That includes botting, scamming, item loss, and/or character deletion. We are not responsible if your items got stolen because someone guessed your password or because they deceived you.
37. Don't lend valuable items to anyone for any reason, even if it is for one second. If you lend an item to someone, think of how would you feel if they never gave it back. If you would be upset, then don't lend it to them because you're not going to get it back if they take it unless you provide proof of them promising to give it back to you.
38. Don't let someone else transfer your items between your characters for you, unless you trust the person extremely. If we get reports from this, we will most likely ignore them unless they promised they'd give you the item(s) back. Be sure to take screen shots before you do a trade with someone or /savechat to get their promise on giving your stuff back to you; even if it's their word of "okay".
39. Don't give out your password to someone unless you are willing to take the risk of losing your items and/or account. Also, if you gave someone your password before but they don't need it anymore, then change your password.
40. If you buy an account from someone, change the password and e-mail immediately otherwise we are not responsible for any stolen items.
41. When giving items to someone, walk away from other players before trading. Double-check the other character's name at the top of the trade window before giving items. Make sure you didn't deal the wrong character - some people have actually given very valuable items to the wrong character just because they were standing in a crowd.
42. When doing any trade that can't be completed wholly in the trade screen (e.g. account trade), take screen shot(s) of the trade, and of the other person promising to give whatever it is they're supposed to give you.
43. When doing such trades, do NOT pay the other party first unless they are at least level 70, or a transcedent class character. Scammers frequently create throwaway accounts and insist on you giving your items first, then run off with your items without giving you what they promised. By refusing to trust characters under level 70, we make it harder on would-be scammers as they can no longer make throwaway accounts quickly.
44. Check items in trade window on both sides before clicking "Trade". Make sure they are really giving you the items they said they would, and make sure you didn't give the wrong item to them. Be especially wary if the other person keeps canceling the deal and trading you again. They might be trying to get you off guard to put up a Poring card instead of a Ghostring card.
45. When purchasing characters/accounts, make sure that they exist. If someone claims they are selling a level 1000 Ninja, ask them to log on and request a deal with them to verify the level.
46. If you got scammed, report the scam immediately by submitting a private message to one of the administrators, posting on the "Report" section of our forums, or even talking to a GM in-game. The sooner we know about it, the better our chances of catching the scammer. If you take longer than 24 hours from the time you discovered the scam to report, we may not be able to help you.
47. If someone claims to be a GM in-game and asks you for your password, don't give it to them - they are a scammer (real GM's will not ask you in-game for your password). Instead, take a screen shot of the conversation and report them in the "Report" thread and we will ban them as soon as possible.
48. When dragging items from your inventory, keep the equipment screen (Alt+Q) open. This will prevent you from accidentally dropping an item on the floor.
49. When vending, make sure that the correct price is set. People often forget to put in a digit and sell the item for cheaper than they wanted to.
50. Please don't flirt with me, I am taken by the love of my life and will get offended if you do anything to me.
51. Do not mess with Jeanne's son Kalas! She loves him a lot.
52. GM's can't War of Emperium unless they are on their legit characters. Please make it fair to the other players who are not GM's. Players: If you catch a GM playing War of Emperium and they aren't on their legit characters, report it to me please with proof of screen shot(s) please and you may be rewarded!
53. GM's can't PvP unless they are on their legits. This rule does not apply if a GM is in PvP just sitting there watching everyone. GM's can only attack the character if the character attacked them first and if they wanted to PvP the GM. GM's: If a player attacked you and you fought back, only kill the person once and do not keep killing them repeatedly in PvP.
54. GM's please only use legit made items when in PvP and WoE. Do not use +10 stuff or else you will be in big trouble if caught.
